Singapore? Tuesday, November 04, 2008 |
Have just been to meeting with an additive supplier and once again the "Singapore trip" was mentioned.. Honestly I don't want to think about it just yet because knowing the minds of the people responsible for approval of such trips, I can't be so sure unless I have the ticket.
But since Ms. Cherry brought it up with Mark during the meeting, I can't help but be excited! She even asked Mark when is it most convenient to have the training! Hahahahahahaha. Pathetic as it may sound, but nearing the end of the meeting, my mind is already preoccupied with counting people whom to give pasalubongs to. Ahahahahahaha. Excited!

Dati sobrang gusto kong maging plant-based. Masaya kasi doon.
Malayo yun. Kung iisipin ko ang long-term, magiging mahirap.
So I think there isn't much choice left for me, is there? Haha. Oh well...
Pero ito, paminsan naiisip ko pa rin na "what if?" Hay. Siguro namimiss ko lang ulit ang planta at ang fun and adventures na pwedeng maganap dun. Na-expire na ata yung bisa nung last na over 2 nights' stay namin dun.. Kailangan na mag-recharge.

I always knew it would work.
The Batangas "vacation", even though it was nothing like a vacation at all because we had tons of work to do there, did very well in refreshing my work-spirit. This week being at the HO felt much better than the past ones prior to the "vacation". And I don't really dwell on the mentor-issue anymore. I kind of accepted it as it is, without much expectations now than before. That way I won't get frustrated again if something not nice comes up.
I think a healthy dose of Batangas, say 3 days every month, would be enough for me to ward off any unwanted feeling here in the HO.

Bakasyon! Monday, July 30, 2007 |
Yehey, after weeks of desperation, we finally got our much awaited OB to the plant!!!
As I have mentioned in my previous posts, I need this trip to refresh my mind and more importantly my outlook towards work. Kailangan ko na ng sariwang hangin at magandang tanawin ng Batangas.
And now, the timing's even beter because Sir Torvic will be having a "party" tomorrow to celebrate his bday! Not only that, on wednesday, there will be a basketball game and we will have the chance to watch our friends play!
Excited na ko.. YAHUU!

I sooo love the chorus part of this song by Kyla:
I see beautiful days with you I feel beautiful ways of loving you You’ve touched my heart so deeply And I can’t thank God enough For all the beautiful days with you I feel beautiful ways of loving you Everything is just so wonderful Every little thing is just so beautiful When I spend it with you...Ü

I love this day, a "beautiful day" indeed! I find the saying "when the cat is away, the mice will play" very true to my situation today. Hahahaha. Good thing our internet's back, this mouse now has a lot to play with! Take this blogging for an example. Hehehehe.

I hope the results turn out ok for the mini-experiment they had back in the lab. Because if it does, that would mean a 2-day "vacation" (at the least i hope) for both Anne and I. We've been missing the "Batangas-life" for ages now and next week seems to me a very good time to be back there. This head office atmosphere is beginning to cripple my mind. I need the fresh air and wonderful sceneries of the road-to-the-JG plant to revive (?) me.
