Lifestyle modifications (by Dr. Tan)
To answer my unending "breathing difficulty" problem due to hyperacidity, my so-called doctor advised me the following:
1. Head of bed elevation
--Kopya.
2. Avoidance of reflux inducing foods (fatty foods, chocolate, peppermint, excessive alcohol, also colas, red wine, orang juice).
--Fatty foods? Chocolates? huhuhuhuhu. Come to think of it, pampapayat din itong suggestion na ito. Yung iba no problem (especially alcohol and red wine, di naman talaga ko umiinom ng mga ito).
3. Refraining from assuming a supine position after meals and avoidance of meals before bedtime.
--Mismo. Sige na nga, bawal na pasaway..
4. Avoidance of tight fitting garments.
--?!? Di ko alam kung malalait ba ko dito pero natawa talaga ko. Ganun na ba ko kataba? Hahahahaha.
5. Promotion of salivation by either eating chewing gum or oral lozenges may be helpful in mild heartburn.
--Kopya.
6. Restriction of alcohol use and elimination of smoking.
