Can Sony Ericsson W810i play mp4 files?

I was wondering why videos from peewee's fone don't play in mine.. And when I checked the file types, I learned that my recorded videos are 3gp files and wee's are mp4 files. Is that why I can't play them? How come I see the thumbnails of the videos he sent me?

Can somebody help me with this? I want to know what file types my fone can play..
